Notes for Solomon (Spouse 1)
He was the father of at least fifteen children and was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church.

Soloman was a stonemason and a farmer. During the War of 1812, he enlisted as a private in Captain Andrew Lawson's Company, Colonel William Johnson's regiment, East Tennessee Drafted Militia. Due to illness, he was discharged early; this illness plagued him for the remainder of his life.

He was living in White County, Tennessee, according to the 1840 census and was back in Washington County by the time of the 1850 census. Soloman became a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church, January 2, 1802. Later, he was excluded for a “disorderly House and drinking to excess.” He was later reinstated. He died in Greene County, Tennessee. March 1860.134
