C. Eileen Salts, daughter of Asa and Amelia Shawley was born July 26, 1914, in Nixa, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, W. Howard Salts; her sisters, Etta Stewart, Elva Pearce, and Zella Derry; and brother, Robert Asa Shawley.

Eileen worked two years for Dr. Walter H. Burk and thirteen years for Sears Roebuck & Co. She was of a happy disposition, loved people and loved to help people.

She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, and a fifty-year-member of Crescent Chapter, order of The Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Eileen is survived by nephews, David Derry and Larry Shelley, Springfield, Mo.; nieces, Virginia Stewart, Mary Katherine Watson, Jo Ann Rivenburgh, Carolyn June McClung, out of state; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Prayer and graveside services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Clear Creek Cemetery.
