Gladys K. Weaver Salts, 87, of Nederland, Texas passed away on December 22, 2006. She was born in Jena, Louisiana on November 16, 1919 to the late Walter B. and Effie L. Polk King. Gladys was a member of Eastern Star 677 in Port Neches and past Mother Advisor to Rainbow Girls. She was a Division Manager for Sears Department Store for 27 years and a member of the Business Women Association. She is survived by her daughter Glee and husband, Loyd Sturdivant of Angleton, Texas; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Haywood L. Weaver and Llyod C. Salts, Sr.; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. Services will be Wednesday, December 27th at 9:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Nolley Memorial Cemetery in Jena, Louisiana at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Odyssey Hospice.
