2013, July 13 - Obituary - Mr. Herbert Hoover Saults, age 84, Limestone, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Saults was born November 10, 1928 to the late William Max & Gertie Hammer Saults. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, David Tate Hylton, a sister, Roxie Irene Cloyd and a brother, Sanford Ray Saults.
He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mr. Saults was a United States Army veteran and retired from Magnavox.
Survivors include a half-sister Joyce Hylton Holtsinger (Ray), half-brother, Robert Hulton (Betty Jane); nephews, Gary floyd (Connie), Greg Cloyd (Amy), Kevin Holtsinger (Sherry); niece, Tammy Peterson (Duane),; grand-nieces, Tracy Cloyd Shipley (Brandon) and Andrea Holtsinger; grand-nephew, Daniel Holtsinger, and great-grand-nephew, Ivan Shipley.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Thomason officiating.
