possibly married to
SUSANNA ______. He is presumably the David Solt referred to by Fred Brenckman in his History of Carbon County(G), above [NOTE: The reason that he is mentioned instead of (his father?) Melchior
might be because Melchior died so soon after moving there and didn’t leave many records (but I’m just speculating)]. David received a Revolutionary War pension (File #S40537), application filed 23 June 1818 in Union County. 1800 Census: David Sold, page 742, Penns, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. 1810 Census: David Sold, page 308, Penns, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. 1820 Census: David Solt, page 082, Penn, Union, Pennsylvania.
