She was a native of Washington County and a daughter of the late Dave and Josephine Thompson Ruble. Mrs. Salts was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Salts. Survivors included two sons, David and James Salts, both of Jonesborough; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Deadrick, Johnson City: one brother, Hubert Ruble, Erwin; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
