Allen is father of Andrew J. Salts and Sarah Erwin is Andrew's mother. Andrew and his wife Alice Whitaker had a daughter Emma Salts, who married William L. Smith of Rheatown, Greene Co. TN.
In Greene Co. I find William Lewis Smith b. 12/10/1861 d. 2/10/1940 m. Lucinda Moyer/Myers b. 10/14/1852 d. 6/27/1908 but I have no date. They lived in Rheatown. Perhaps he first married Lucinda then Emma.

My father Arthur Agnew was a Connecticut Yankee who entered military 1912-13 and was injured and received a medical discharge. He wound up in Mountain Home, Johnson City, Washington Co. TN in 1930 and met my mother who was working in cafeteria there. He married her and lived the rest of his life in Chuckey/Splatter Creek of Greene Co. TN.
