On Hulda's Social Security Application form it says that she was born in Durango, Colorado on the 24th of February in 1896. She was working for Model Steam Laundry at 332 East Kern Street In Tulare, Tulare County, California. She started working on the 21st of November in 1938 when she was 42 and applied for a Social Security Number on the 30th of November 1938. She gives her father as Edward Everett Briggs and her mother as Anna Rucker. Hulda was living at 107 South Street in Tulare, CA when she filled out her form. She gave her name as Marie Hulda Briggs Olgen (kind of looks like Olsen). She signed the form as Marie H. Olgen.1226

On Hulda's death certificate it said that she was widowed. It did not give the name of her husband. It did list her father as Edward Briggs and her mother as Unknown Rucker. Hulda was a Licensed Vocational Nurse.361
