Millard Saults Sr. - JOHNSON CITY
Millard Charles Saults Sr., age 65, died Sunday, August 29, 2004, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Johnson City, he was the son of the late Georgia Ervin and George William Saults Sr. Mr. Saults was a member of Shakesville Community Church, Bristol, VA. He was the head mechanic at Leon-Ferenbach, Inc., and he built the first machine that installed carpet in airplanes. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Arnold Saults, Johnson City; a daughter, Melinda Kay Saults, Johnson City; four sons, Allen Saults, Johnson City, Millard Saults Jr., Sevierville, Jerry Saults, Johnson City, and Joey Saults, Bristol, TN; a sister, Ruth Green, Jonesborough; two brothers, Freddie Saults, Johnson City, and Eddie Saults, Gray; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all JCMC Home Health nurses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
