NOTE : No mention of Christopher Columbus Sligar in this will, but we find him later in Deed Book A-I and L for Monroe County: (880) 8 October 1836 Allotment; John Ramsey and Thomas Sliger, execs. Of Adam Sliger, dec'd of Monroe Co. to Jacob Sliger, one of the heirs, the upper plantation. To Sally Sliger (now Sally Tailor), Adam Sliger, Christopher Sliger, Livana/Sevenia Sliger (now Livanna Russell) the home place. To Johnathan McCulla and wife Betsey (Sliger) the ridge plantation. This may account for all of Adam's children and the younger ones not included in the main will due to their age at the time.
They lived near Telford, several years but sometime after the death of John Sliger, father of Adam, (will prob. 1818), Adam and family moved to Monroe County, Tennessee. He left a will there, dated Sept. 16, 1834. Several children were mentioned.
