On the 1900 census it says that Miranda Smith Crawford Murr had two children but only one was alive. She indicated that she and David had only been married for seven years, so the children would have been from her first husband - at least one child would have been a Crawford.

On the 1860 census, they have two children who were born before their marriage. Looks like the husband was married before

I think he must have married three times. Once with son George and the first daughter, Second to Mary Ann Salts, and third to a woman named Maranda. On the 1900 census it said they had been married for 7 years, she had 2 children and 1 was still alive.
