(Rachel is listed above John Solts in the 1830 census. It is thought that Rachel was a Salts and that she married a Brinegar.)
From this book I have, East Tennessee Tax Records Index: Washington County, 1822-1839.
Brinegar was not listed in the tax records.

So from this it appears that David died in 1830. He is not listed in the 1830 census. It also appears they had a son named James and may have had a daughter named Rebecca. Or are Rachel and Rebecca the same person?
