On January 22, 1963 Aunt Lulu Belle Van Beynum and Sons, Bill and Bob from Connecticut and New York visited our family in Missouri for Aunt Margaret’s birthday.9 In 1964 mom included Aunt Lulu Belle in her Christmas book when she came to visit. It states that she was from Hartford, Connecticut. It states that she was a niece of Aunt Eula, Aunt Margaret and Granddaddy -- but she is also called Aunt Lulu Belle by mom in the same paragraph.
She was a dog breader. She didn't really need to work, but did so because she wanted to. For a woman of that time to be breading dogs (Welch Corgies) would have been quite something.

1935, September 7 - Clarence W. Van Beynum can be found on the Boston Passenger Lists, 1820-1943. He departed at Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on the ship Yarmouth and arrived in Boston, Massachusetts.
Clarence was very successful; he eventually bought a sort of gentleman's farm in Connecticut named Willow's Farm 740(probably after living in New York for a time).928 On his death certificate it states that he had been living in Portlan for 17 years.
