Sarah A Brim, widow of the late James H. Brim pioneer resident of Green Ridge died at the home of her son Charles C. Brim where she had lived since the death of W.T.Brim in 1932 She was born in Tenneessee April 28, 1849, being 84 years 11 months and 11 days old at the time of her death. She came with her parents, Mr and Mrs Marsh Doggett when a young girl to Green Ridge, She married James H Brim and was the mother of 3 sons, one of whom Releigh, died in infancy. W.T.Brim died May 1, 1932, The surviving son is Charles C Brim of the Hickory Point neighborhood. She leaves 3 grand children, J. Ira Brim of Sedalia, Mrs Harold Hunton, Mrs Guy Ray of Green Ridge, a brother Harvey Doggett of Springfield Mo. and a sister Mrs Belle Dodd of Boliver, and 5 great Grandchildren. Her Husband died Oct. 1, 1897. The Funeral services were held at the Hickory Point Church with burial in the Church cemetery. The deceased was a great Aunt of Mr Saults and Mrs Chas. Covey of Knob NosterApril 19, 1934.
