1894 — Chas. and Wm. Brim of near Green Ridge attended commencement and visited the family of their cousin D.N.Saults Tuesday night (Knob Noster Gem).

1932 — May 5, 1932- William Thomas Brim, aged 58 years, one of the best known and highly respected residents of Green Ridge, died at his home after an illness of several weeks, which was followed by a paraletic stroke about 2 weeks ago. Mr Brim was born November 6, 1873 on a farm near Green Ridge, spending his youth there. On March 2, 1898 he married Miss Alberta Perdue -a member of a pioneer family of the Green Ridge community. After marriage Mr Brim continued farming until January 1903 when he purchased a general store in Owsley, Mo., and on Oct. 1, 1906 moved back to Green Ridge, where he engaged in the Mercantile business, which he had followed since being one of the progressive and enterprising men of that place for a long term of years. He served 2 terms of Mayor of Green Ridge and numerous times was a member of the town board. In 1905 he united with the Eldorado Christian church. He is survived by a widow, and one son J. Ira Brim, also by his mother Mrs Sallie Brim, and a brother Charles all of Green Ridge. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock at the Christian church in Green Ridge with burial in the Green Ridge Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Covey, C. L. Saults and E. A. Sappington attended the funeral. The deceased was a cousin of Mr. Saults and Mrs. Covey.1006
