He enlisted in the army in August, 1918 but was shortly afterwards discharged because of ill health. He moved to Greeley in June 1919, due to his health.708 On his draft registration card he gave his name as William Henry Hall age 27 born in Knob Noster, Missouri on the 7th of May in 1890. He was a farmer for J. W. McIntosh in Warrensburg, was single and his next of kin was listed as "mother". He was tall with a medium build, light gray eyes and brown hair. He registered on the 17th of June in 1917.1204
