Obituary - Idaho State Journal, publication date 19 January 1986. Irene Saulls, 81 of 650 N . Seventh Avenue, died at her home Friday following a short illness. She was born July 8, 1904, at McCammon, to Andrew and Magie Martin Cutler. Survivors include a son, Leonard Webber of Yucaipa, Calif.; three brothers, Homer cutler of Fort Hall; Earl Cutler, Pocatello; Gerard Cutler, Blackfoot; 16 grand children; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great granchild. Graveside services will be held at the family plot in the McCammon City Cemetery at the time to be announced by the Downard Funeral Home. Grave location: 129-206 C5

1918, March 2nd - Everett Laverne was legally adopted by Thomas and Roselinda Godfrey from a Children's Home Finding and Aid Society of Idaho.

1918, March ? - The adoption papers were signed by Probate Judge WMA. Hyds.

1918, April 12th - papers went on file in court.

1957, February 18th - Before he died, Everett legally changed his back to Saulls. At the same time, his eldest son Lynn Godfrey took his father’s birth name as well. Lynn’s children also use the name Saulls.

Salmon - Rancher Everett LaVerne Saulls 57, died of an apparent heart attack Sunday at his home on Fourth of July Creek new Salmon. Mr. Saulls had been a ditch rider for the government at Pingree, Rockford and Fort Hall between 1940 and 1960 before moving to Salmon. Mr. Saulls was born Jan. 22, 1905 in Nebrasca, a son of Jacob and Etta Miller Saulls. He came to Idaho as a child and lived at Grays Lake, Firth, Lava Hot Springs and was a mail carrier in Mountainview, Wyo. before moving to Blackfoot. He married Melva Bowman on July 12 1828, and she died 18 years later. He later married Irene Cutler Brennan at Malad. Survivors are his widow, two sons and two daughters including Lynn Saulls, Basalt: Leon Saulls, Blackfoot: Mrs. Erma Benson, Repert and Mrs. Viola Mesowski, Ogden, Uta. Also surviving are two stepsons, Jere Brennan, Lincoln, Neb., and Leonard Weber, Big Bear Lake, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and two brothers and a sister.
