SALTZ
Lanell Ray Saltz, 79, a native of Laska and resident of Fairhope, died July 31, 1999. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope and a member of the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, Ross Saltz of Fairhope; two sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Carol Saltz and Vann and Brenda Saltz, all of Fairhope; a sister, Annie Merritt of Mobile; a family member, Bonnie Miller of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Tatum Saltz, Grant Saltz and Jared Saltz; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 3 at First Baptist Church of Fairhope with Dr. Stan Weatherford officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairhope Building Fund, 300 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532 or the Trinity Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 545 S. Mobile St., Fairhope, AL 4532.

Ross Tatum Saltz
(June 1, 1921 - March 7, 2008)
Ross Tatum Saltz, a retired United States Air Force Civil Service Procurement Manager, died peacefully at his home on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the age of 86.
Mr. Saltz was a native of Meridian, Mississippi, a resident of Fairhope, and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nell Saltz. He is survived by two sons, Leon (Carol) and Vann (Brenda). His grandchildren are Tatum, Grant and Jared Saltz and his great grandson is Hayden Saltz.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying the woods and waters of Alabama. He will be remembered as a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, Fairhope with the funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Saltz to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
