1812 - Born in Virginia

1829 - It is not known when Fielding’s parents moved from VA to KY. But using the known dates for his brothers, it looks like they moved to KY sometime around 1929. All of the boys have been identified as "born in Virginia" by documentation.

1830 - There is a Fielding Hall listed in Green, KY in Everton, but it is not known if it is this Fielding or another.693

1836 - Married to Ann Finn in Adair Co., KY (dau of Peter Finn) on 6 March 1836. Peter Finn was aged 26 to 45 in the Adiar Co. Census of 1820, his wife was the same age, and they had three daughters under the age of 15.

1839 - Married to Eliza Coleman Smart 9 Dec 1839 in Mercer Co., KY. She was the daughter of Henry P. Smart and a sister to William Smart. The Halls were living in Boyle Co., KY. in 1850 as shown by the Federal Census for that year. The family was not living in Mercer Co. in 1860.

[Lucy Hall listed before him. She is listed with:
1 male 10 to 15

[If my letter is right, there could well have been three boys at home and that age. This means that Lucy's husband, James, died before 1840.]

1856 - Fielding Mace Hall is not listed in Boyle County Tax list for 1856.

1850 - 1858 - So far, I have not been able to determine the date when he moved from Boyle to Lincoln county, Kentucky. But it is possible to say that he moved between the years of 1850 and 1858. However, depending upon the history of the area, it could be that they never moved and that the county borders were changed.

1870 - On the 1870 census Fielding can be found in the electronic index of Ancestry.com as "bunklin Hall." He is living in Kentucky, Lincoln County, Hustonville. He is listed with the following people...

HALL, Bundling - 57 - no occupation - born VA - Blind
HALL, Elizabeth - 48 - Keeping House - born KY
HALL, Fielding, Jr. - 13 - Works on farm - born KY - cannot write
HALL, Mary - 9 - born KY [isted in same order of census recording]

[listed in order as found in original census]

Fielding's duaghter Margaret Hall Huston and her family are living next door.

1871 - On the Lincoln County Tax List there is a Fielding Hall listed and he is marked with "one white male over 21 years of age". He is also listed as owning 2 hogs, but he isn't marked with having any children. However, looking at the 1872 Lincoln County Tax List, there should have been two children -not two hogs. The boxes are next to each other and I'm convinced that the person recording the statistics might have made an error in this tax list record.

1872 - On the 1872 tax list for Lincoln Co., KY Fielding is listed again. He is listed with 2 children between the ages of 6 and 20 years of age.
